She joined the team on August 7, 2023, as Director of Human Resources, bringing extensive years of human resources experience.
Her eagerness stems from a love of music and from the opportunity to focus on people strategy and reinforce NMAAM’s organizational culture, building a positive and respectful environment for both internal and external customers.
Although she enjoys crunching numbers, Tomicka finds joy in helping people, and she transitioned her profession from accounting to human resources in 2005. Throughout her career, she has earned a reputation for her dedicated work ethic and her proven ability to contribute to overall growth for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. She has been an active member of SHRM, MT|SHRM, and other resourceful organizations, and looks forward to continuing her involvement throughout her journey with NMAAM.
A native of Tennessee, Tomicka earned her Bachelor of Science from Lipscomb University and her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management and Organizational Development from Strayer University in Nashville.
She is most passionate about supporting people and serving in a mission-focused, purpose-driven capacity. Her motto: “We will get there, we are in this together!”
