During the 2026 Americana Music Festival, NMAAM unveiled a display exploring the musical journey of multitalented musician Ruthie Foster. Along with highlighting her highly acclaimed 2024 album Mileage, the display commemorates the August 2026 release of Just Say Yes on the legendary Tennessee-based label Sun Records.

The first song on Just Say Yes, “Thank You,” was written by Foster in September 2025 during AmericanaFest in Nashville. In the song, she reflects on feelings of imposter syndrome and the experience of having her authenticity as a blues performer questioned, despite the recognition she has received for her work. Among her accolades is the 2025 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album for Mileage.
