On December 3, 2025, DOVE Award-nominee Chris Blue donated artifacts from his historic 2017 Season 12 win on NBC’s The Voice to NMAAM’s permanent collection. Blue was the first African American winner since Season 2. The donation, made in partnership with Gaither Music Group, includes memorable items from his winning journey and celebrates his continued impact on gospel, R&B, and soul music.
