Lorenzo Windrow serves as Associate Director of Development at the National Museum of African American Music, where he manages an $8 million contributed income pipeline and leads transformative campaigns that sustain the Museum’s mission of celebrating Black music and culture.

He directs cornerstone initiatives including the Francis S. Guess Roots Theater Seat Campaign, Voices of Faith, and Soundtrack for All, while cultivating strategic partnerships with individuals, corporations, and foundations to expand NMAAM’s reach and impact.

A relationship-driven fundraiser, Lorenzo has elevated donor participation and visibility through innovative programs like the Jefferson Club for emerging professionals and high-level naming opportunities throughout the Museum. His work ensures that NMAAM not only preserves history but also inspires future generations through access, education, and community connection.
