Yvette joined the NMAAM team in 2022 and currently serves as the Director of Guest Experience and Grant Administrator for the Rhythm and Blues Foundation.

Prior to her current role, she worked in both the Education and Development Departments.

Before coming to NMAAM, Yvette worked for the Nashville Metropolitan Government under former Mayors Carl Dean and Megan Berry. She brings over 40 years of leadership and customer service experience to her role. Yvette is also a past nominee for the Frist Humanitarian Award.

One of the highlights of her day is stepping away from her desk to walk around, greet guests, and take pictures with them. She has a deep love for music, with Gospel being her favorite genre.

Yvette is a proud graduate of Tennessee State University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending sporting events, and going to church.
