A welcoming face of musical excellence
Serve as the first point of connection for visitors in our high-traffic spaces—Lobby, entrances, Roots Theater, Rivers of Rhythm Pathway, and galleries. Create a warm, engaging environment that sets the tone for discovery.
Behind-the-scenes excellence
Work directly with NMAAM teams to support programs, events, the Amplify Gift Shop, Education Center, and Community Education Rooms. Your efforts help our staff deliver exceptional experiences while advancing our preservation mission.
Musical storytellers
Channel the West African tradition of oral storytelling as gallery guides and interpreters. Lead tours, share musical innovations, interpret artifacts, and spark meaningful conversations about the genius that created American music.
