An Afternoon with Megan Piphus

Join us for a memorable afternoon with Megan Piphus—a four-time Emmy Award-winning producer, celebrated ventriloquist, and the first full-time Black woman puppeteer on Sesame Street.

Megan will take the stage to share selections from her upcoming children’s album, Cinderella Sweep, including the inspiring new single “A New Cinderella.” Set to release on July 11, the album features the voices of 53 girls from Saving Our Daughters, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls of color through mentorship and the arts.

Enjoy a joyful live musical performance (with some puppet friends!), personal reflections on Megan’s journey as a groundbreaking storyteller, and the unveiling of newly donated artifacts that honor her career and legacy.
